  1. Thanks for posting the books you’ve read about Italy, I’l always looking for new ones! I love Italy and used to live there, but now I’m back in England, I like to read about it as much as I can!

    My grandmother was from Naples and my family have always loved Naples ’44 by Norman Lewis. It’s a special book for me because it is all about the time when my grandmother was young and struggling through the poverty in Naples at that time.

    Lewis is a brilliant writer, and although fair and unbiased, he has a passion for Italy that really comes across in his book. You should definitely try it!
